Maintenance-free sodium Na-Ion motorcycle battery with high discharge current and resistance to low temperatures.
A new generation of maintenance-free batteries
The sodium Na-Ion battery is a modern alternative to classic lead and lithium batteries. It is designed for motorcycles, scooters, quads and other vehicles with an appropriate electrical system and a requirement for a high short-term discharge current.
Thanks to sodium technology, it offers low weight, high discharge performance and very good resistance to low temperatures. The battery is also completely maintenance-free and does not require electrolyte topping up or other regular maintenance.
The charging voltage of 14.6V with a tolerance of 0.2V corresponds to common 12V charging systems for motorcycles, scooters and quads. In most cases, no modification of the electrical system is therefore necessary.
The battery can be charged with conventional chargers designed for lead-acid batteries, or with programmable chargers in WET or AGM mode. Charging modes designed for desulfation, regeneration, reconditioning, reviving or restoring the battery (RECOND, REPAIR, RECOVERY, etc.) are not suitable for this battery.
Sodium Na-Ion Technology
Sodium cells use sodium ions instead of lithium ions to store and release electrical energy. Sodium technology thus represents a modern alternative to classic lead and lithium batteries and brings a combination of properties that are particularly advantageous when used in variable temperature conditions.
One of the significant properties of this technology is its very good behavior at low temperatures, where the battery retains its electrical properties even in conditions in which some other types of batteries may have significantly limited performance.
Sodium technology also allows for a high number of charging cycles and good resistance to repeated discharge. Another significant property is its high resistance to deep discharge - the battery can be discharged to 0 V if necessary without a negative impact on its service life or performance. Compared to conventional lead batteries, sodium technology can offer a much higher number of charging cycles. The battery is therefore a suitable solution for vehicles that are used seasonally or are exposed to variable temperatures.
Safety and thermal stability
Sodium cells do not contain lithium and their chemical composition offers high thermal stability. The battery is designed for safe and reliable operation in normal conditions of use of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and other vehicles.
Quality cells for long life
The battery uses quality cells from a verified manufacturer, selected with regard to the required performance, life and reliability of the entire battery.
